Chad Wilson Bailey has been making music for quite a while. Most recently, he released a full-length album called Build Me a Fire, which is unapologetically pure rock 'n' roll. He also put out a video for the first single, "Dark Cloud," that nearly is as engaging as the song itself. First of all, sometimes I just fall in love with the construction of a song, and that is definitely the case here. Starting with the backwoods guitar intro, it gives you very little idea of what is to come with its gentle acoustic strokes. It's not too long before it picks up the pace and Bailey begins his throaty vocals over an ever-increasing and hypnotic tempo. Even then, you are not quite sure where the song is getting to until he practically howls halfway through and the band completely kicks your ass with a hard rock assault. It's the payoff you'd hoped for from the start. The guitar licks are downright flammable, the drums crashing, the bass thumping; there is a menacing madness to it all that's perfectly explosive. Add to that the great video above and Chad Wilson Bailey has delivered an impressive calling card to the world with this one.

It broke me down. I ceased to know who I was. I had to redefine and reinvent everything in my life. In my darkest moments I gave up and asked one last time for anything, anybody to help, to give me a reason to go on. Show me a miracle.
Build Me a Fire was written and recorded over the last 2 years of my life. It was entirely recorded at my home and at my brother's home. There is no record company supporting this. The entire album including the art work, the video and the mastering was completed by only 6 people. I am incredibly inspired by the passion, dedication, vision and love that was contributed to create this music.
The first album released by Chad Wilson Bailey contains 12 tracks including 1 hidden track called "All This Time." The album was written and recorded in Burbank, California by Chad and his brother and music partner Charles Bailey.

"I booked Chad for a Corporate Event and he did an amazing job! He was on time and very professional. He played for 2.5 hours and never ran out of music. After hearing him play at another venue, I knew he would be perfect for my event. He set-up and sound quality was the best. He is very accommodating and everyone had a great time. He is a true professional that has a love for music. I would definitely hire him again. He is so versatile that you can hire him for any event."
— Ashley Schmidt, Business Development Manager - Equity Title Agency
"Chad Wilson Bailey is one of the best solo performers on my roster. He always arrives on time, his equipment is perfect for the venue, his music selection always seems to fit the event perfectly and his talent far exceeds the client’s expectations. You can count on him to always make you look good!"
— Jim May, Jim May Productions
"Chad played at a private event recently here at Sol Cocina in Scottsdale for a large group. The guests were clearly loving the music, and making requests. Everyone enjoyed it from the younger crowd to the more ‘experienced’ in the group! The live music gave the event the perfect ambiance and made the whole experience."
— Shelly Hayes, Events Coordinator
"I hired Chad for my wedding reception at The monOrchid in Phoenix. He was hired for the first two hours of the Reception, which we considered the Cocktail Hour. With those two hours I gave him a list of 15 songs, most of which he already knew off hand. He showed up and set up without a hitch. His music was familiar to me which is why I hired him, however the guests had no idea who he was. Not only was I happy with the sound quality and the overall set, I heard from many guests both during the event and days after that they were really impressed with him. I would hire him again, his love for music is evident in his performance."
— Andy Good
"We hired Chad to play for our rehearsal dinner party for 70 guests ages 21 to 90. He knows decades of music and all we did was recommend a few of our favorite artists and he did the rest. Everyone loved his music! For our party, music was an essential element for creating the right mood. We wanted our party to be energized and to encourage the guests to converse with each other. And Chad’s performance did all that. He clearly is experienced and versatile. He is totally aware of his audience and knew how and when to engage them. We would definitely ask him to play for us again!
